Examination information for veterinary and para veterinary professional examinations

Application forms must be complete and all enrolment requirements met and received by the SAVC on 1 April 2010.

No applications will be considered after 1 April 2010. 

Applications must be received as a complete set of documents and must not be submitted in stages.

Prospective applicants need to prepare for compliance with the examination requirements and read all documents as follows:

Veterinary Examination

1. A completed application form [A application form] & [B checklist] signed before a Commissioner of Oaths;
2. Payment in the amount of R 6 942 this amount includes the application [R 200.00] and examination fee.  Kindly note that the fees are non refundable;
3. After 10 May 2010 no withdrawn applications from the examination will be placed back on the list of examination candidates.

5.  Application only upon approval or direction by the SAVC to sit a part of the Council Registration Examination.

 Veterinary Nursing examination

2. Payment in the amount of R 4 472 this amount includes the application [R 200.00] and examination fee.  Kindly note that the fees are non refundable;
3. After 10 May 2010 no withdrawn applications from the examination will be placed back on the list of examination candidates.
