Administration

The Council administration is committed to excellence in service delivery to the Council and the veterinary and para veterinary professionals, the public and the animal population of South Africa.  The staff of Council is guided to ensure that the objects of Council are carried out efficiently and effectively without compromising a high standard of service delivery.

The Registrar and staff are appointed by Council in terms of Section 14 of the Veterinary and Para-Veterinary Professions Act, 19 of 1982.
